Way to be NCO
NCOs are commanders at the forefront of combat, are experts in small unit combat, and play a key role in generating combat power.
The Army has secured excellent NCOs by recruitng volunteers from enlisted soldiers, civilians, and Reserve Non-commissioned officier's Training Corps(RNTC).
Enlisted soldiers on active duty can apply for NCO recruitment, or they can apply for term-NCO recruitment, ranging from 6 to 48 months upon discharge.
The RNTC is a course that recruits students in junior colleges or higher and enlist them after military education and training course.
Applicants must have Korean nationality, be between the ages of 18 and 28 as of the date of commission, and have a high school diploma or higher and have an equivalent level of education.
