Conclusion

「The ROK Army Vision」reflects the changed Army operating environment to include the「National Defense Reform 2020」based on the former「Army Vision 2025」.

「The ROK Army Vision」highlights the following strategies that will allow the Army to function effectively as the "Leading Force in National Defense" in the future:

A state-of-the-art, information and technology Army that can efficiently counter various future threats, An effective Army that has a cost-efficient and highly effective operating system that eliminates all inefficiencies and elements of waste, An Army with an advanced culture that boldly eliminates all inefficient systems and practices by instilling the right sense of values full of harmony and solidarity with high morale that will bring out full dedicated service from every soldier.

「The ROK Army Vision」will not be realized automatically. The vision can be achieved only when every member of the Army accepts and implements the guidance outlines in the various parts of the vision. In the journey to realize this vision, the support of understanding and empathetic and ensuring a stable national defense budget is essential.

Through all these efforts, the ROK Army will sustain the trust and confidence of our nation that was earned by our forefathers and will ensure victory in any conflict.This is the pathway to maintain the self-sufficient national defense system that our entire nation deserves.
