Energy conservation

We eliminate wasting factors and push forward energy conservation campaigns. By doing so, we manage our army in and low-cost and high-efficiency ways.
Energy Conservation Campaign
Recent foreign oil prices are expected to be stable. However, we went through energy crisis due to hike in foreign oil prices several years ago.
At that time, the price jumped from 59 dollars per barrel in January, 2007 to 100 dollars per barrel in March, 2008. As a result, soldier’s welfare conditions, preparing for action and education training were restricted.
After that, ROKA reduced wasting factors in preparing for action, education training and army lives and has kept energy conservation wave in daily life.
ROKA carried out ‘Selective Days System for Private and Official vehicles’. It minimized the movement of gas-guzzling combat and armored cars by utilizing Heavy Equipment Transportation and rearranged the supply route to the shortest to promote efficiency.
Furthermore, we recommend the executives living near to walk and ride a bike for commuting. Parking lots for only light-weighted vehicles and running light-weighted vehicles first, No-Car day per month Campaign, Private cup Campaign and Automatic shut off program for PC power are parts of active efforts to save energy in daily life.
