Environment exclusive troops

ROKA designated environment exclusive troops to perform environment tasks; patrolling in U.S base to detect environment pollution, supporting manpower and equipment for clean-up businesses, clean-up activities for territory pollution, private-commissioned clean up businesses for territory pollution, and detailed investigation and supervision.

In 2007, the troops has collected 250 liter of waste oil in Tae-An and U.S base and commissioned 383 tons of living wastes. In addition, they are carrying out clean-up activities at two bases and reduced budget to 2.6 billion won with clean-up activities at small scale of polluted area.
