Korean Army is pushing ahead reorganizing high tech system of technique oriented course equipping with rapid counter ability and flexibility.
Future ground warfare concept and ability
  • A. Network basis simultaneous * consolidated combat
    Future war aspect is changing to the Network Centric Warfare which maximizes combat effect as the battle field is visualizing with the development of military science technology and the overcoming of time and space limit factors of battlefield management.
    Accordingly, future army set up ‘Network basis simultaneous consolidated combat’ which maximizes supportable combat power connecting high tech ‘surveillance-resolution-blow system’ with Network as combat operation concept.
    • 1. Surveillance : Recognition of common battlefield through visualizing battlefield
    • 2. Resolution : Guarantee of simultaneous consolidation for management of combat power by networked command control
    • 3. Blow : Neuter the volition of resistance and enemy power by creating condition operation mainly with effectiveness
    • 4. Maneuver : Close the combat by decisive attack maneuver
    • 5. Defense : Maintenance of operation durability through constant defense and effective support
  • B. Functional demand ability
    To realize the basic concept for ground warfare ‘Network basis simultaneous combined combat’ equipments (surveillance, resolution, blow, maneuver, defense) which maximize the effectiveness of combat by visualizing battlefield with using future high tech equipment and overcoming time and space limit factors of combat power management.
